Brand Identity


After more than a decade of use, the Kane Constructions logo and identity were in need of an overhaul. The challenge was to develop a new identity for Kane that reflected the progress and evolution of the company, without compromising existing strengths and brand recognition. The solution: a stripped-back version of the original logo, removing all elements except for the distinctive Kane logotype. The original color palette was utilized and extended for more complex applications, while the ‘construction tape’ detail was reinvented as a dynamic graphic device. The list of applications is extensive and includes everything from crane and site signage to corporate stationery.

Since 2009, Thomas has worked with Kane on a number of creative projects and initiatives, including the Kane website and various promotional pieces.
