The WSJ Subscription site is a standalone destination that promotes all of the benefits of a WSJ membership. The site features rich interactive content including video, immersive articles, and platform-specific features. Designed in a ‘dark-theme’ the site conveys a premium experience that is reflective of the Journal’s high caliber content.
As part of the subscription site, we provided Creative Direction for a photoshoot of WSJ Products. The shoot included capturing all the platforms that WSJ products can be found on including smartphones, tablets, laptops, voice, WSJ Magazine and the printed paper. The outcome is a unique take on familiar products and devices over a dark background. In addition to the subscription site, the images are utilized throughout the WSJ subscription experience, on WSJ.com and in the iOS and Android Apps.
The WSJ Subscription site was designed and built by Thomas Williams and Cory Etzkorn, as well as close collaboration with WSJ optimisation and acquisition teams.
